What are Snowcubes?

Snowcubes are Taiwanese snowflake crisps: marshmallow, crispy crackers, dried fruit, and nuts layered into a crisp-chewy bite. We form each one by hand in small batches in Queens, NY. They're not too sweet.

There are seven: Classic (cranberry pistachio — the original), Strawberry Matcha, Cherry Oreo, Oatmeal Raisin Crumble, Pineapple Coconut, Black Sesame Yuzu, and Strawberry Puff. If you're not sure, start with Classic; for tart cherry and Oreo, try Cherry Oreo, and for strawberry and matcha, try Strawberry Matcha.

A flavor box is 6 packs of 2 pieces — 12 pieces in all, sealed two to a pack so they stay crisp until you open them. Snowcube Singles come as a 10-piece Pouch for $20, a 24-piece Box for $45, or a 50-piece Box for $75. Black Sesame Yuzu and Strawberry Puff come in the same three Singles sizes. Every one is packed by hand.

Yes. The 50-piece Box lets you choose up to two flavors; the 10-piece Pouch and 24-piece Box are one flavor. If you want more than two flavors, add separate boxes to your cart. For a custom mix, use the larger-order form and include the flavors, number of boxes, and date you need. We'll check the request and tell you what we can offer. You choose the flavor on the product page before you add it to the cart. On Snowcube Singles that's the Flavor checkboxes on the product page, and your pick rides along with the order, so we know what to make.

The price reflects the time in each cube: we form and pack them individually, use generous mix-ins, and use less marshmallow. The 10-piece Pouch is the smallest size we make, if you'd rather start there.

Snowcubes contain milk. Some flavors include wheat and/or tree nuts, and each product page lists the ingredients for that flavor. They're made in a home kitchen that also handles tree nuts (pistachio, almond), coconut, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and sesame, so we can't promise allergen-free batches. If you're ordering around an allergy, please check the product page first and write us before ordering.

Yes — Oatmeal Raisin Crumble is our gluten-free one. We make it with gluten-free crackers, gluten-free oats, and gluten-free flour, and it has no nuts in the recipe. Every box is still made in our home kitchen alongside the other flavors, so check the product page and write us if an allergy is in the mix.

About 6 weeks sealed at room temperature — no refrigeration, just keep them out of heat and direct sun. We seal them two to a pack by hand, which helps the crisp-chewy texture hold from our kitchen to you, so they're shelf-stable and won't melt in transit. If they firm up, 5 seconds in the microwave brings the chew right back.

We make everything to order. The regular cutoff is Friday at 3 PM ET for the following Monday ship date from our Little Neck kitchen in Queens, NY. Around holidays, choose an available ship date in your cart. Delivery time varies by destination and carrier — we can't guarantee a carrier delivery date, but you'll get tracking once it's on the way.

For a regular order, the ship date is Monday. For a different date on a catering or larger order, use our larger-order form and include the date you need. We'll check our schedule and tell you whether we can ship then.

Your confirmation and shipping emails carry the details. Once your order ships, the shipping email includes the tracking link. Can't find it? Send us a note with your order number and we'll check the shipment.

Send a note through the contact form with your order number as soon as you can. We can usually fix a shipping address any time before your order ships. Changing what's in the order is tighter — we make everything to order, so tell us before the Friday at 3 PM ET cutoff; once we've started your batch over the weekend, changes may not be possible, and we'll tell you either way.

Because Snowcubes are fresh, handmade, perishable food, we can't take them back once they've shipped. If something arrives damaged or wrong, send a note through the contact form with a photo and your order number. We'll review what happened and reply with the next step.

Yes — on the five two-pack flavors. On a gift-ready two-pack flavor page, choose the gift-wrap option, pick a design and write a short note before adding the box to your cart, then enter the recipient's address at checkout. It arrives gift-wrapped with ribbon and your card, shelf-stable and sealed, so they don't need refrigeration while they travel. Prefer to write it yourself? Leave the note blank and we'll send the card for you to write by hand. Snowcube Singles, Black Sesame Yuzu, and Strawberry Puff ship in their regular packaging.

Yes — we do wedding favors, packed with the same not-too-sweet recipe we sell in the shop. There are a few ways we do it: a single sealed pouch per place setting, a single piece for welcome bags, a sealed two-pack for the dessert table, or a wrapped custom box. There's a minimum, and we usually need about four weeks of lead time — tell us your date, guest count, and what you're picturing through the wedding form; Nicole will reply with the formats we can offer for your date and guest count.

Use the larger-order form and include your event date and desired delivery timing. We take orders for baby showers, birthdays, and company events. For events, we can discuss branded packaging, ribbons, floral accents, personalized notes, and custom flavor assortments. Tell us your count, date, and packaging needs; Nicole will reply with the options we can offer for your date and count. Most weddings and events land for us May through October — outside that window, write anyway and we'll check the date and tell you whether we can take the order.

No — a bigger order costs the same per box as a small one. We make everything by hand in small batches, so more boxes is more hours in the kitchen, not fewer.

For weddings we usually need about four weeks. For other events it depends on the count and the date — send both through the larger-order form and we'll check our schedule against your date.

Mostly online — we make everything to order and ship from Queens, NY. We also show up at fairs, markets, and occasionally a NYC cafe, and those change seasonally. For current dates and locations, check Instagram @trysnowcubes or send a note through our contact form.
