Hi! We're Leo and Nicole.

Leo and Nicole celebrating one year of Snowcubes

Snowcubes are our take on snowflake crisps (雪花酥), a nostalgic treat you'll find across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, and beyond. The first time we tried them was actually from Leo's mom — and we were hooked.

At the time, Leo was laid off from his corporate job and I wanted something more hands-on and creative on the side. I was thinking about snowflake crisps so one day I whipped up a batch! Just for kicks, I asked Leo, "What if we named these Snowcubes?"

And that's how it began: us in the kitchen experimenting with different ingredients, tweaking the recipe to find that texture and flavor we loved. And we made the version we wanted to eat!

Before we knew it, we launched a website to share our take on the specialty treat. It made our day to see others enjoy Snowcubes as much as we did!

We're small batch and very grassroots. Snowcubes cost more than the mass-produced snowflake crisps you might find at the supermarket, but we use great ingredients, we're generous with the mix-ins, and are less marshmallow-heavy and more balanced.

Every cube is made-to-order by hand and packed individually. That's how we keep that crisp + chewy bite exactly right and we'd rather make fewer great cubes than a lot of okay ones.

Thanks for letting us make these for you. 💛
